Una práctica muy extendida es ver cine, del bueno si puede ser. En eso debió pensar la buena de Amy Winehouse. Ahora, que por fin parece haber cedido a las presiones familiares y ha aceptado pasar por su temida rehabilitación, Amy pasa los días de su obligado retiro viendo cine.Con unos padres tan preocupados por la salud de su hija, que hasta han hecho algunos planes para el funeral de un chica que todavía no ha cumplido el cuarto de siglo, Amy parece haberse centrado, y desde su habitación de la clínica se pasa el día viendo clásicos del cine. Cine de Marylin Monroe, justo cuando empezábamos a pensar en los motivos que le han llevado a teñirse de rubio. ¿Inspiración?, ¿copia?, ¿aburrimiento?Después de un final de 2007 repleto de incidentes, portadas y escándalos, Winehouse ha encontrado unos instantes de paz para ver películas y descansar.Así que mejor que siga viendo clásicos, se recuperé, se centré y vuelva a grabar.

Whitney Houston anuncia un nuevo disco con temas inéditos para otoño de 2008 y un primer recopilatorio para febrero

Mientras prepara un disco con temas inéditos que verá la luz en otoño, Whitney Houston vuelve a reunir sus éxitos en un doble álbum, "The últimate collection", en el que recupera números uno de ventas como "I will always love you", "How will I know", "So emotional" o "I'm your baby tonight". La fecha elegida por Sony-BMG para el lanzamiento de "The ultimate colection" es el 12 de febrero y en él se incluyen también dúos con Mariah Carey ("When you believe") y George Michael ("If I told you that"). Whitney Houston, que en agosto cumplirá 45 años y después de haber pasado una crisis matrimonial y superado sus problemas con las drogas, ya trabaja, según su discográfica, en una nueva colección de canciones inéditas, que verá la luz después del verano. La estrella norteamericana, que comenzó a cantar a los 11 años como solista en un coro gospel apadrinada por Aretha Franklin y su tía Dionne Warwick, vuelve a reunir en este recopilatorio temas de éxito como "Saving all my love for you", "Greatest love of all", "Where do broken hearts go" o "Exale (Shoop Shoop)". Todas han sido número uno en las listas de ventas de medio mundoy le han proporcionado seis Grammy; en total el disco contiene 18 cortes como Didn't we almost have it all", "Run to you", "I have nothing", "I'm every woman", "It's not right but it's okay" y "My love is your love". "The Ultimate Collection" resume una carrera que va de 1985 a 2000, durante la que ha vendido más de 175 millones de discos.
